The idea is to maximise the gain in the direction that you desire the most by properly facing/aligning the antenna - something easy to do outdoors with line-of-sight and a known optimal direction.Įxcept here you're indoors - there's scattering, waves are coming in at random angles. high "dB" (not "Db") means you get some increased gain in some directions and lower gain in others. Just find one with the highest Db possible for the cheapest price.
